As the prime consultant, Cunningham Engineering was responsible for coordinating the multi-disciplined team in the design of an irregularly shaped site adjacent to the Fairfield Transportation Center. Cunningham Engineering designed a functional parking lot with sustainable, attractive landscaping and facilities for a variety of users.

Project challenges included obtaining Caltrans exception approval, maximizing parking potential and coordinating pedestrian, vehicle, vanpool, and bicycle storage with movements throughout the site.
